A 53-year-old Wauchope man has pleaded guilty to intentionally carrying out a sexual act with a child under 10 years following his appearance in Port Macquarie Local Court on September 19.

The man cannot be identified and bail was not applied for and was refused.
He appeared before Magistrate Price.
A second charge of intentionally sexually touching a child under 10 years was withdrawn and dismissed.
The charge relates to an alleged incident that occurred at Wauchope on March 13, 2019.
The matter has been committed for sentence in the Port Macquarie District Court on December 2, 2019.
