Most teams registered at least one win from their two games on the day. Wauchope RSL won both its matches, while Macquarie Hotel, Port City Leagues Magpies, Camden Haven and the Port Macquarie Magpies got single victories.
Comboyne was the only team to go winless.
The Pirates came close to winning both their matches too, but fell 11 short of Macquarie's 4-155 at Oxley Oval.
Captain Rod Morton was back to his old self. He belted 53 runs before Josh Hyde knocked over his castle.
Morton hit six sixes, including an inside-out smash over cover which ended up on Pacific Drive.
Another straighter shot took a higher trajectory before scattering spectators on the hill at the southern end of the ground.
Ultimately it wasn't enough though, and Morton's side fell short of a perfect day.
Peter Colver's 24 was the next highest contribution. Sam Ward bowled him.
Brendan Badenoch's opening spell was the most successful for Macquarie. He captured 3-21 from four overs.
Hyde snared 2-23 from his four overs.
Andrew Howe's 75 not out was the best batting score of the day. Howe helped Camden Haven to a three-wicket win over Comboyne at Laurieton Oval.
Haven posted 7-128 to eclipse Comboyne's 6-127 in the 17th over.
Earlier, Comboyne shared the runs, with good limited-overs knocks from three batsmen.
Anoop Gopalakrishnan and Tom Salter made 34 and Nigel McKenna 31.
Daniel Minns and Chris Hanlon took two wickets each for the Haven. Nathan Kerr and Benn Dunn also had wickets.
Haven will be in action again on Wednesday when it takes on Port City Leagues Magpies at Wayne Richards Park.
There are three more night games left to decide the Twenty20 finalists on Australia Day.
Macquarie Hotel and Wauchope RSL play the following night and then Comboyne faces Port Panthers Pirates on Wednesday, January 22.
