The crew consisting of 22 burly blokes and several ladies were challenged to give up the unhealthy morning teas and hot lunches for fresh fruit and exercise.
Accepted with some enthusiasm, and a bit of grumbling as the biscuits were replaced with grapes over a morning cuppa, the six-week program has produced some impressive results.
Amid the relentless sledging between competitors and enduring alcohol free social club functions, the kilos fell off with Brett Johl leading the way and losing 14.1kgs.
Coming in a close second was Colin Munro who was pipped at the post after the final morning weigh-in by just 300 grams.
"He used to bring in baked dinners for morning tea, but now he just eats one grape," some of Brett's workmates chipped.
All participants are now exercising regularly and according to Patrick Cassegrain, have not logged one sick day since the program started.
Everyone chipped in $30 to be a part of the challenge with the winner taking home the prizemoney. The crew intend to continue their weight loss journey for 12 months.
