There will be a twenty20 contest for the annual Beach versus Country Remembrance Day Match.
The night kicks off at 6pm with a ceremony to honour troops who gave their lives for their country. A bugler will play, and a junior cricketer will speak about what Remembrance Day means to them.
Then, the cricket starts, with a Beach side captained by Hastings River District Cricket Association president Shane Williams taking on Matt Day's Bush blokes.
All clubs in the association are represented, with plenty of players from the lower grades turning out for the match.
It's definitely a day where the cricket comes second, according to Williams.
He said the match would be a good opportunity for anyone who can't make it to the day time ceremonies to pay their respects at the ground before enjoying some good entertainment in the match.
RSL Port Macquarie Sub Branch president Greg Laird will attend the match on Wednesday night.
Port Macquarie MP Leslie Williams' husband Don will toss the coin.
Shane Williams was proud to be involved.
"It's a great way for the association to show respect for those who have fallen for our country," he said.
The teams' shirts are sponsored by RSL sub branches in Port Macquarie, Camden Haven and Wauchope.
Williams urged everyone to get down to the game.
"Come down and then have some fun," he said.
