The ceremony on Friday July 21 started with Uncle Bill O’Brien giving his unique and wonderful welcome to country, principal Glen Sawle also welcomed everyone and the chairpersons, students Tylee Donovan and Caitlin Miller did a great job of introducing the various entertainers.
Steve Donovan played the didgeridoo and Jamie Donovan brought on young dancers from Wauchope Public School who performed to the delight of the students, parents, teachers and local Aboriginal elders in the audience.
