Port Macquarie has joined cities and towns across the country in opening up live sites for the Matildas historic World Cup semi-final clash against England on Wednesday night, August 16.

Apart from the many pubs and clubs sure to be screening the game live, the Port News will update this post with any family-friendly locations we hear about.
Town Beach
Port Macquarie-Hastings Council will be holding a special broadcast of the Matilda's semi-final at the Town Beach Amphitheatre.
Breakwall HQ cafe will be open as well as food trucks and a barbecue providing plenty of food.
Bring your own blankets for this night under the stars.
Alban Place carpark will be closed with disability access only. Attendees should park in town then walk to the amphitheatre.
Majestic Cinemas
Majestic Cinemas CEO Kieran Dell made the call on Monday night to turn the Port Macquarie and Kempsey cinemas into family-friendly live sites on Wednesday night.
Screenings of the match will be LIVE and free.
CEO Kieren Dell said he was "overjoyed" to play a part in what is "sure [to] be a thrilling game".
"Who wouldn't want to watch the team make history," he said in a statement.
Doors will open at 7.30pm in time for the 8pm kick off.

Sovereign Place
Strobe Productions are hosting a free outdoor screening of the Matildas semi-final at the Sovereign Place Town Centre.
Bring your own chair and rug. The event is alcohol-free.
A Sovereign Place spokesperson said this is a great opportunity for Matildas fans to come together in an outdoor environment and cheer on the Aussies.
"Mitchell Turner from Strobe Productions chose Sovereign Place because it's a central location for supporters in Port Macquarie's growing western region, Sovereign Hills and Wauchope.
"It's going to be a fantastic evening and our hopes are high."
